Palmdale Repertory Theatre
Palmdale Repertory Theatre is a non-profit volunteer community theater group and one of the two original resident theater companies of the Palmdale Playhouse, sponsored by the City of Palmdale. Along with Desert Opera Theatre we have been bringing theater to our local community for three decades and were instrumental in raising the funds that helped to build the Palmdale Playhouse.
Membership to Palmdale Repertory Theatre includes Newsletters, Advance Audition Notices and most importantly a say in the leadership of PRT and the direction it takes in community theatre.
Membership Per Year: Individual: $5.00, Family: $10.00
Season Tickets are available for $34.00 each
PRT is looking for a few good Men, Women and Children. All of the actors you see in PRT productions are volunteers. The sets are built by volunteers. Our directors are volunteers. The people who gather our costumes and props are volunteers. Why do we do all the work that it takes to put together a production? For one thing, we get a great deal of satisfaction. We have come together as a team and created a work of art. It is fun. Not all of us like to perform. In fact, some of our volunteers have never acted in a production. But, we couldn't have done what we have done without them. So, if you know how to swing a hammer, know your way around a paintbrush or can sew on a button, give us a call, drop us a line or see us in the lobby after one of our shows.
